Who do I coach?

My clients are thoughtful, capable, and often in a season of change. They want more than quick fixes–they want transformation rooted in self-understanding and aligned action. I typically partner with:

What is my approach?

I take an integral approach to coaching. What this means is, I work with my clients at the level of the “root cause.” So instead of just being focused on the What and How, we go deep on the Who and through that lens we make progress together. So while taking steps to resolve a current situation, I also support my clients to connect more fully to their overall purpose and trajectory. In addition, I:

What informs my coaching approach?

My approach is shaped by a mix of formal training, lived experience, practices and tools that support meaningful, lasting change—both inner and outer. This includes:

How is Coaching different from Psychotherapy, Advising, or Consulting?

People often ask how coaching differs from psychotherapy, advising, or consulting. While all forms of support can be valuable, here’s how I see the distinctions:

  • Coaching is a collaborative, future-oriented partnership that helps you create meaningful change in your life or work. As your coach, I hold space, ask powerful questions, offer practices, and walk with you as you reconnect with your own clarity, courage, and wisdom. The goal is sustainable transformation–rooted in self-awareness and aligned action
  • Psychotherapy focuses on healing emotional wounds, processing the past, and treating mental health conditions. Therapists are trained to diagnose and support psychological wellbeing. While coaching may touch on emotions and past experiences, it is not a substitute for therapy and does not provide mental health treatment. Many of my clients work with both a coach and a therapist at different points in their journey
  • Advising is grounded in functional knowledge. I can only advise in areas where I’ve actually done the work –leadership, marketing, and career transitions. In those cases, I may share my own experience or offer practical guidance to help you move forward.
  • Consulting is focused on delivering expert solutions to a problem. A consultant will often assess a situation and provide a roadmap or strategy. Coaching, on the other hand, is about empowering you to discover your own solutions and develop new ways of seeing, being, and doing–so the change you make is lasting and your own
