A bit about me
Hi! I'm Aleesha. I'm originally from Mumbai, India. I first left home at 12 in pursuit of a better high school education and then at the age of 17, I moved to New York City for college, where I studied Marketing and Economics.
For the first 15+ years, I built a career in brand and marketing–leading teams at fast-growing startups like LinkedIn, Digit, and Brightwheel, and shaping strategy for Fortune 100 companies like Nike, Chase, and Disney. Along the way, I experienced the highs of clarity, promotions, and people leadership–and the lows of burnout, layoffs, and staying too long in spaces that no longer felt right. As a first-generation immigrant, I also encountered cultural and professional limitations–sometimes subtle, sometimes stark–that shaped how I saw myself and how I moved through the world of work.
It was through working with my own coach that I began to untangle what mattered most. That work brought me back to myself–and set me on the path to becoming a coach. Today, I help others do the same: reconnect with who they are, realign their work and life, and move forward with clarity, courage, and compassion.
My coaching is rooted in my core values of Loving, Service, and Freedom. I care deeply about holding space that is kind, honest, and liberating–where your full self is welcome.
Part of my mission is to make coaching more human and more accessible. I believe this work should not be reserved for a privileged few–and I do my best to create space for all kinds of people and stories to feel seen, heard, and supported.
A little more about me
I’m a proud wife and dog mom. A few years ago, my husband and I spent over two years on the road–living and working across 25+ U.S. cities. That experience opened my eyes to a different way of being. It helped me realize that identity doesn’t have to be tied to work, and that home isn’t always a place–it can also be a feeling you carry within.
Since then, I’ve been taking small, intentional steps to design a life that feels aligned and alive. Coaching is a big part of that journey–and one of the greatest joys of my life is walking alongside others as they design theirs.
Outside of coaching, you’ll often find me savoring a yummy meal, dancing (zumba or in my living room), practicing yoga or qigong, making or admiring art, reading or listening to a book, or just soaking in the beauty of everyday life.
